On Saturday, May 2nd, Fountain Creek Foundation
was proud to help sponsor the third annual Cinco De Mayo parade.
Presented by the East Side Commission, the parade celebrated the rich ethnic diversity and heritage of Pueblo's East Side... a neighborhood geographically defined by Fountain Creek.

From a Fountain Creek Foundation Cinco De Mayo hand-out:
"The Fountain Creek Foundation is actively working on improving educational and recreational opportunities in Pueblo’s lower East Side neighborhoods and increasing the quality of life for families and children. FCF is focused on helping make the Confluence Park a reality as soon as possible.
The Fountain Creek Foundation is a non profit organization that exists because the Fountain Creek needs a united voice to draw attention to the Creek’s important contributions and substantial risks to urban and rural Southern Colorado.
We work to encourage and help finance educational and recreational opportunities including facilities along the Creek. In addition, we encourage and promote a healthy and harmonious natural environment all along this waterway.
This mission is primarily carried out through fundraising, informational/educational literature, website presence, public programs, construction projects and media."
